We are excited to offer a holistic approach to health – just the way God designed it! This eight week program looks at the whole person, how to glorify God, and use his scriptures to live a holistic lifestyle.

God Created

God created humans along with water, sun, land, plants, animals, and then he rested. We can use these pillars to live a healthy life. We were created to work with creation. Our body requires;

The Genesis Prescription is an eight week program that focuses on one pillar each week. We will go through the blueprint God designed us to live and principals of wellness. You will uncover the amazing way our body was designed to work with creation.

God said,’ Let there be light’

In the beginning, God created light. It’s no accident that light plays a central role in our well-being. Light governs our circadian rhythm, the internal clock that influences our sleep-wake cycles, hormone production, and even digestion. But modern life, full of artificial light, has disrupted this natural balance.

Water and Land: The Foundations of Life

Next, God separated the waters and the land. Water makes up most of our planet and is crucial to our bodies—about 60% of us is water! Staying hydrated is fundamental to good health, yet so many of us neglect it. And when it comes to land, we can’t forget the importance of spending time outdoors. There’s a term making waves these days—“forest bathing or grounding”—which really just means reconnecting with nature. It’s also a great reminder that we were made from the earth itself. We’re deeply connected to the soil, and all the living organisms in it.


Plants, Animals, and the Balance of Nutrition

After creating the earth and waters, God made plants and animals, providing us with food that nourishes and heals. A balanced diet that includes both plant-based foods and animal products is essential for our health. Plants provide vital nutrients like fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, while meat offers protein, essential fats, and other nutrients that our bodies need to thrive. Eating a diverse range of foods ensures we get the full spectrum of nutrients God designed for us.

Community: The Power of Connection

One of the first things God told mankind was to “be fruitful and multiply,” not just physically, but relationally. Humans were created for community. Building community—whether through family, friendships, or shared experiences—has profound effects on our health. Loneliness is a silent epidemic, impacting everything from mental health to immune function. To truly thrive, we need deep, meaningful connections with others.

Rest: The Essential Gift of Renewal

Finally, God rested on the seventh day. Rest is as vital to our well-being as any of the elements mentioned above. In a culture that glorifies busyness and productivity, it’s easy to forget that our bodies need regular rest and sleep to function optimally. Sleep plays a critical role in hormone regulation, metabolism, detoxification, and mental health.
Just like God took time to rest after His work, we must prioritize rest in our lives. It’s an essential part of our physical and spiritual health, allowing our bodies and minds to rejuvenate.


A Holistic Approach

These creation principles—light, water, earth, nutrition, community, breath, movement and rest—are all interconnected. When we align our lives with the natural rhythms of the earth, we can experience vibrant health, body, mind, and spirit. We have everything that we ever needed to be well designed from the very beginning.

“God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” — Genesis 1:25

During these zooms you will gain understanding and knowledge of the pillar that week. We will also go over how to integrate these pillars into your life. We will pray together and hold a Q&A. A recording will be sent within 24 hours of each live session to watch at your convenience.
